DoT Issues Demand Notices To Telcos Seeking Additional Revenue Retrospectively

Demand notices have been issued to Bharti Airtel Ltd, Vodafone India Ltd, Idea Cellular Ltd, Reliance Communications Ltd, Loop Mobile Ltd as well as BSNL to pay for additional spectrum held above 4.4Mhz retrospectively (July 2008 - December 2012) and above 6.2Mhz prospectively (from January 2013) till the expiry of their licences.
